How Information Is Shared

- Stripe: used to process checkout and payment. Payment card details are handled by Stripe rather than stored directly by PrintEasy3D.
- Slant3D: used for direct file upload handling, quoting, manufacturing workflow, and fulfillment of print orders.
- Thingiverse: if you submit a Thingiverse link, the site retrieves model information and downloadable file references from Thingiverse.
- Convex: used to store limited transaction records such as payment metadata, shipping state, and related order identifiers.
- Legal or safety disclosures: information may be disclosed when required by law or when reasonably necessary to enforce terms or protect rights and safety.
Payment Information
Payments are processed through Stripe Checkout. PrintEasy3D does not collect or store full payment card numbers through the site. We may receive limited payment metadata such as the transaction status, session identifier, amount, currency, and customer email needed to confirm and record a purchase.
Uploaded Files and Model Content
Files you upload, and files retrieved after you submit a Thingiverse model link, may be processed and transmitted to service providers used to prepare quotes, manufacture the item, and support the order. Because uploaded models can contain sensitive or proprietary designs, you should submit only files you are comfortable sharing for those purposes.
Retention
We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the service, fulfill orders, maintain business and transaction records, resolve disputes, investigate fraud or misuse, and comply with legal or accounting obligations. Retention periods may vary depending on the type of information and the purpose for which it was collected.
Security
